Sunday School – Susan Bundt

Sunday School begins an exciting new year on September 7!  We are looking forward to great season as we continue to grow and expand. We offer four categories of Sunday School and all children, including visitors are welcome to attend.
The Crib Room provides a safe comfortable environment for our youngest members and guests (newborn through age 2 ½ ).  Our Pre-K Room for children ages 2 ½ -5,  offers the Spark program which engages children in God’s Word using the Spark Story Bible.
Children from Kindergarten through grade 3 are welcome to learn and worship in the Godly Play room.  Their program centers on the Godly Play curriculum, presenting a biblical story each week, along with a project and a shared “feast” of juice and cookies.  Our newest class is the Connect Program, for children in grades 4-8, which includes engaging videos and activities to get “tweens” thinking about the stories they’ve learned and how these stories connect to them.

Our numbers are steadily growing and volunteers are needed to staff the program.  I need regular volunteers to commit to one Sunday per month and others willing to “substitute” when needed.  We also need donations of white grape juice, apple juice, goldfish crackers, small cookies and crackers.  If you can help in any way, please contact me at 207-2974 or through the church office.

“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them,
for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matt. 19:14
