The Ramsi P. Tick Memorial Concert Series

Ramsi Tick had a simple idea: bring a group of acclaimed musicians to Buffalo to create a high-caliber recital series. The series would be totally funded by its membership base. Virtually all of the subscription price goes to pay the artists' fees. Individual tickets are available to each concert as space permits. Each membership provides the holder with a card that is used for admission to each concert. Memberships may be shared. This year as an added benefit, your Ramsi Tick subscription is a flexible one. You can trade any ticket for any other ticket in the series as long as seats are available.

At its inception, the series was planned for Kleinhans Music Hall, but production expenses there prohibited its completion. Holy Trinity Church has a long history of presenting high-level concerts to the community, and with seating for only 575 people, was deemed the perfectly-sized venue to house the series. The church has made its wonderful performance space available without adding to the cost of the series for subscribers. Holy Trinity Church has ample off-street parking and provides security services for the peace of mind of attendees.

The 2008-2009 Ramsi Tick Season will open on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. The line-up is below. All concerts will be held at 7:30 P.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Series subscriptions are now on sale. The series price is $185.00. Preferred seating (Front pews of the church) $225.00. The set of concerts is sold as a package at a reduced price. Single tickets are available to the public for $40.00 for one ticket and $75.00 for two tickets per event. If you have any questions, call Phil Rehard at (716) 694-0521.
